WHEREAS, on Monday, October 6, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of
one (1) rubber track mini excavator for use by the Water Utilities Department, Sewer
Maintenance Division for the repair and maintenance of sewer lines; and,
WHEREAS, Carruth-Doggett Industries, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$39,500.00; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Carruth-Doggett
Industries, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Carruth-Doggett Industries, Inc. in the amount of$39,500.00
for the purchase of one (1) Takeuchi TB035 model rubber track mini excavator be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this they/ day of
1997.
