WHEREAS, on Monday, October 6, 1997, sealed bids were received for furnishing
fixed pricing for an annual contract to purchase#8 tower rock for the Streets and Drainage
Division; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas submitted a bid in the amount of$13.60 per ton F.O.B.
Plantsite, estimated annual expenditure in the amount of $34,000; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by APAC-Texas
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by APAC-Texas in the amount of $13.60 per ton, F.O.B.
Plantsite, estimated annual expenditure to be $34,000 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 2 day of
