WHEREAS, bids were received for the 1997 Miscellaneous Paving Project; and,
WHEREAS, Salenga Construction, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of
$203,737.56 and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Salenga
Construction, Inc. in the amount of$203,737.56 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Salenga Construction in the amount of $203,737.56 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract for such project.
