WHEREAS, on Monday, October 6, 1997, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of study carrels and paperback book end panels for the Elmo willard Branch
Library; and,
WHEREAS, Workplace Interiors of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$47,847.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Workplace
Interiors of Houston, Texas in the amount of$47,847.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Workplace Interiors of Houston, Texas in the amount
$47,847.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
