WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, September 2, 1997 for the purchase
of one (1) 50 foot hydraulic digger derrick truck for the Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic Truck Sales of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$126,889.54 and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic Truck
Sales, of$126,889.54 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic Truck Sales for the purchase of one (1) 1998
International Model 4900 cab and chassis equipped with an Altec Model D2050-TR
hydraulic digger derrick in the amount of $126,889.54 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
