WHEREAS, on Monday, September 15, 1997, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of 500 stacking chairs and eight (8) chair trucks for Convention Facilities,
Harvest Club; and,
WHEREAS, Sysco Food Service of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount of
$59.50 per chair and $47.75 per chair truck totaling $30,132.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by Sysco Food
Service of Beaumont in the amount of$59.50 per chair and $47.75 per chair truck totaling
$30,132.00, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sysco Food Service of Beaumont in the amount $59.50 per
chair and $47.75 per chair truck totaling $30,132.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
