WHEREAS, on November 5, 1996, City Council awarded a contract to Bo-Mac
Contractor's, Inc. for the 1996 Street Rehabilitation Program in the amount of$1,419,146.18;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being requested to cover additional costs in
the amount of $77,265.07 to adjust the estimated quantities to actual quantities used; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will result in an increase in the contract amount
to $1,496,411.25;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 in
the amount of $77,265.07 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and Bo-Mac
Contractor's, Inc.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to make final payment to Bo-Mac Contractor's Inc. in the amount of $74,830.06
for the 1996 Street Rehabilitation Program.
