WHEREAS, one bid was received August 6, 1997 for the Loop Detector Project
which will provide signal operations at forty-eight (48) traffic signals; and,
WHEREAS, A&G Eberhardt Enterprises, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$219,538.14 for the Loop Detector Project which will provide signal operations at forty-
eight (48) traffic signals; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by A&G Eberhardt
Enterprises, Inc. should be accepted subject to approval by the Texas Department of
Transportation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by A&G Eberhardt Enterprises, Inc. for the Loop Detector Project
which will provide signal operations at forty-eight (48) traffic signals in the amount of
$219,538.14 be accepted by the City of Beaumont subject to approval by the Texas
Department of Transportation.
