WHEREAS, on Monday, August 25, 1997, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract for the purchase of slag base material, F.O.B. plant site, to be used by the
Landfill, Streets and Drainage, Parks, Water Distribution, and Sewer Maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, International Mill Service, Inc. of Vidor, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of approximately $15,000.00 as follows:
0" x 1-1/2" 1-1/2" x 3" 2-1/2" x 8"
F.O.B. PLANT SITE $8.00 1ton $6.50/ton $6.50 ton
and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by International Mill
Service, Inc. of Vidor, Texas in the amount of approximately $15,000.00 as shown above,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by International Mill Service, Inc. of Vidor, Texas for the purchase
of slag base material, F.O.B. plant site, in the amount of approximately $15,000.00 as
shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
