WHEREAS, on Monday, August 25, 1997, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to provide asphaltic concrete to be used by the Public Works Department/Streets
and Drainage division for street repairs; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-TEXAS, Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid for an approximate
annual expenditure of$86,170.00, prices as shown below ;

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-TEXAS,
Beaumont, Texas in the approximate annual expenditure of $86,170.00 in amounts as
shown above, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-TEXAS, Beaumont, Texas for an approximate annual
expenditure of$86,170.00, prices as shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
