WHEREAS, bids were received on July 14, 1997 for the relocation of the 20" water
line along West Port Arthur Road (Spur 93) serving the Prison Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Norman Highway Construction submitted a bid in the amount of
$100,367.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Norman
Highway Construction should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Norman Highway Construction for the relocation of the 20"
water line along West Port Arthur Road (Spur 93) serving the Prison Complex in the
amount of$100,367.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
