RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, August 11, 1997 for the purchase of
three (3) rubber track mini excavators for use by the Water Utilities Department, Water
Distribution and Sewer Maintenance Division for the repair and maintenance of sewer
lines; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Rental Services, Nederland, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of$113,655.00 for three (3) Takeuchi Model TB035 rubber track mini excavators;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Rental
Services should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Rental Services for the purchase of three (3) Takeuchi
Model TB035 rubber track mini excavators in the amount of $113,655.00 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
