RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of approximately
5.36 acres of land and improvements located at 865 Franklin Street, Beaumont, Texas as
shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto from Entex in the amount of$38,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the acquisition of the 5.36 acres of land and improvement from Entex for the
negotiated value of$38,000 as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be accepted by the
City of Beaumont subject to a finding by the United States Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) that the site has no significant hazardous contamination.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the,-Ze day
of 1997.
