WHEREAS, on Monday, June 23, 1997, sealed bids were received for an annual
contract to purchase corrugated polyethylene pipe; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company submitted a bid in the amount of
approximately $123,376.50 as follows:

and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn in the
estimated amount of $123,376.50, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply Company for an annual contract to provide
polyethylene pipe at the unit prices stated herein in the estimated amount of$123,376.50
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract for such project.
