WHEREAS, on June 16, 1997, bids were received for furnishing various sound
system equipment for the Julie Rogers Theatre and Civic Center; and,
WHEREAS, the following vendors submitted bids as shown;

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted by the above
vendors in the amounts as shown with a total amount of$242,737.12, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by above vendors in the amounts shown with a total amount of
$242,737.12 for the furnishing of various sound system equipment for the Julie Rogers
Theatre and Civic Center be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
