WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont wishes to apply for state assistance in the amount
of$25,000 from the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) for grant
funds made available to local governments for household do-it-yourself (DIY) used motor
oil programs; and,
WHEREAS, this program has been endorsed by the City Council of the City of
Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT, the City Manager, Ray Riley, be and he is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to apply for state assistance in the amount of $25,000 from the
Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) for grant funds made
available to local governments for household do-it-yourself (DIY) used motor oil programs
and to accept the grant if awarded.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the, day
