WHEREAS, on Monday, May 12, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of filter
controlling equipment to be used by the Water Utilities Department, Water Production
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Warren Electric Company of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
of$27,767.65 as follows:

and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Warren Electric
Company of Beaumont in the amount of$27,767.65, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Warren Electric Company of Beaumont for the purchase of filter
controlling equipment to be used by the Water Utilities Department, Water Production
Division in the amount of$27,767.65 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
