WHEREAS, on Monday, May 12, 1997, bids were received for furnishing
approximately 550 lunches per day for the Summer Service Program (SFSP) sponsored
by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Moncla's, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$50,396.50 [based on
$1.87 X 550 lunches per day] ; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Moncla's,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Moncla's to furnish approximately 550 lunches per day for the
Summer Service Program (SFSP) sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department in
the amount of$50,396.50 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
