RESOLUTION NO. ` ,-
WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, April 28, 1997 for the purchase of four
(4) pressure reducing valves and one (1) pressure relief valve to be installed and used by
the Water Utilities Department, Water Production Division; and,
WHEREAS, Coburn Supply Company of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$21,531.04; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn Supply
Company in the amount of$21,531.04 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply Company for the purchase of four (4) pressure
reducing valves and one (1) pressure relief valve to be installed and used by the Water
Utilities Department, Water Production Division in the amount of$21,531.04 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this theme day of
11997.
