WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase and installation of a stationary high
pressure air compressor and purification system to be used by the Fire Department at Fire
Station #1, located at 747 College Street; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Air Compressor Company submitted a bid in the amount of
$37,495.00 for the purchase of a Bauer Model #18.1-20E3 stationary high pressure air
compressor and purification system; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lone Star Air
Compressor Company in the amount of$37,495.00 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Air Compressor Company for the purchase of a
Bauer Model #18.1-20E3 stationary high pressure air compressor and purification system
in the amount of$37,495.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
