WHEREAS bids were received for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies to paint the interior of the first and second levels of the Julie Rogers Theater
auditorium; and,
WHEREAS, A & L Contractors, Inc., of Sour Lake, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of$48,408.86; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by A & L
Contractors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by A& L Contractors, Inc. in the amount of$48,408.86 furnishing
all labor, materials, equipment and supplies to paint the interior of the first and second
levels of the Julie Rogers Theater auditorium be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
