WHEREAS bids were received for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and
supervision to remove asbestos containing materials from the structure located at 3500
Chaison; and,
WHEREAS, Clark-Tech Environmental Systems, Inc. , Houston, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of$54,475.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Clark-Tech
Environmental Systems, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Clark-Tech Environmental Systems, Inc. for furnishing all
labor, equipment, materials and supervision to remove asbestos containing materials from
the structure located at 3500 Chaison in the amount of $54,475.00 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
such project.
