WHEREAS bids were received for furnishing all labor, materials, supervision and
equipment to repair and paint all exterior masonry and concrete walls, doors, windows and
frames, and miscellaneous wood and steel at the structures located at the City of
Beaumont's Water Treatment Plant located at 1550 Pine Street; and,
WHEREAS, BRC Painting, Inc., Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of$29,229.00 as follows:
BRC PAINTING,INC.
BEAUMONT,TX
Base Bid $19,070.00
Alternate 1 $4,560.00
Alternate 2 $5,599.00
TOTAL $29,229.00
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by BRC Painting,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by BRC Painting, Inc. for the amount of$29,229.00 for furnishing
all labor, materials, equipment and supplies to repair and paint the exterior masonry and
concrete walls at the Water Treatment Plant including Alternates 1 and 2 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for
such project.
