RESOLUTION NO. 1 �
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for an annual contract for Guard Services
and Events Staff for the Community Services Department, Convention Facilities Division;
and,
WHEREAS, Delta Security, Inc. submitted a bid with the option to renew the
contract for one year at an estimated annual cost of$116,490.00 calculated at 150 events
with hourly rates as follows:
DESCRIPTION UNIT PRICE
Guard Service Supervisor $12.321hr.
Ticket Taker Supervisor $8.25/hr.
Ticket Taker $10.50/hr.
Usher Supervisor $ 7.62/hr.
Usher $ 9.63/hr.
Door Guard $ 12.00/hr.
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Delta Security,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Delta Security, Inc. in the above stated amounts for an annual
contract for Guard Services and Events Staff for the Community Services Department,
Convention Facilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
