WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) tandem axle cab and
chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch for the Public Works Department, Street and
Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic Truck Sales submitted a bid of$85,631.09 for the purchase
of one (1) International tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch ;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic Truck
Sales Olympic Truck Sales for the purchase of one (1) International tandem axle cab and
chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch in the amount of$85,631.09 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic Truck Sales for the purchase of one (1) International
tandem axle cab and chassis equipped with a 60,000 lb. winch in the amount of
$85,631.09 be and it is hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the ,�Wt day of
1997.
