RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont Police Department wishes to apply for state
assistance from the Texas Automobile Theft Prevention Authority titled Southeast Texas
Auto Theft Task Force; and,
WHEREAS, this program has been endorsed by the City Council of the City of
Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT, the City Manager, Ray Riley, be and he is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to apply for state assistance to the Texas Automobile Theft
Prevention Authority titled Southeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force for a grant in which
the City of Beaumont's share is $325,905..
