WHEREAS, bids were received on Monday, March 31, 1997 for furnishing labor,
equipment, supplies and materials for the construction of the M. L. King, Jr. subdivision
to be located in the Charlton-Pollard Neighborhood at the southeast corner of Sabine Pass
and Flowers Street ; and,
WHEREAS, Treyco Contractors, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$87,738.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Treyco
Contractors, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Treyco Contractors, Inc. for furnishing labor, equipment,
supplies and materials for the construction of the M. L. King, Jr. subdivision be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
