WHEREAS, on Monday, March 31, 1997, bids were received for furnishing all labor,
materials, equipment and supplies necessary to install structural support steel and
sheetmetal ductwork for new roof top air handlers and condensing units and to relocate
two 7 % ton package units ; and,
WHEREAS, Burt's, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$44,418.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Burt's, Inc. ,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Burt's, Inc. for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and
supplies necessary to install structural support steel and sheetmetal ductwork for new roof
top air handlers and condensing units and to relocate two 7 '/2 ton package units in the
amount of$44,418.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
