WHEREAS, on Monday, January 27, 1997, bids were received for Sanitary Sewer
System Contract Number Seven, Folsom Interceptor Rehabilitation; and,
WHEREAS, Allco, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of$913,
733.58; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Allco, Inc.,
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allco, Inc. for Sanitary Sewer System Contract Number Seven,
Folsom Interceptor Rehabilitation in the amount of$913,733.58 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such
project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
