WHEREAS, Entergy has requested a ten (10) foot utility easement on City owned
property on the west side of the City's landfill site out of the James Rowe survey, Abstract
45, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the grant of said utility easement and
is of the opinion that the said easement of property is necessary and desirable and that
same should be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said utility easement is hereby granted to Entergy for the Leachate Collection
System pumps for the new cells to be constructed at the City's landfill site and the City
Manager is authorized to execute an easement for such purposes.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
