WHEREAS, property described as the east fifty-four feet (54') of Lot One in Block
Eleven of the North Addition (right of 790 Elm) presently has mowing charges totaling
$1,928.14 due to the City of Beaumont in the form of weed liens, said liens dating back to
1984; and,
WHEREAS, Lefler&Walker, on behalf of Magnolia Cemetery, prospective owners
of subject property, have offered $500.00 for release of the weed liens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept Lefler and Walker's
offer, on behalf of Magnolia Cemetery, of$500.00 in settlement of all weed lien charges
on the above described property and release the existing weed liens against the property.
