WHEREAS, on February 17, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of an
Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) for use by the Management Information Systems
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Wesco Distribution submitted a bid of$20,053 for the Exide Electronics
Powerware Plus 18 UPS; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Wesco
Distribution should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wesco Distribution for the Exide Electronics Powerware Plus
18 UPS in the amount of$20,053 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
11997.
