WHEREAS, on February 10, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of a
McElroy Hydraulic Fusion Machine equipped with a Sidewinder attachment for use by the
Water Utilities Department, Sewer Maitnenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Secor submitted a bid in the amount of$22,584.32; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Secor should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Secor for the purchase of a McElroy Fusion Unit equipped with
a Sidewinder attachment in the amount of $22,584.32 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
