WHEREAS, on February 24, 1997, bids were received for the purchase of 500
stacking chairs and eight (8) chair trucks for Convention Facilities, Harvest Club; and,
WHEREAS, Sysco Food Service submitted a bid of$58.61 per chair and $46.40 per
chair truck for a total of$29,676.20; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sysco Food
Service should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sysco Food Service for the purchase of 500 stacking chairs at
a cost of$58.61 per chair and eight(8) chair trucks at a cost of$46.60 per truck for a total
of$29,676.20 be and it is hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the , day of
1997.
