WHEREAS, on February 17, 1997, bids were received for the Extension of
Concrete Parking Lot at 770 South Fourth Street; and,
WHEREAS, Wallace Enterprises submitted a bid of$38,295.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Wallace
Enterprises should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wallace Enterprises for the Extension of Concrete Parking Lot
at 770 South Fourth Street in the amount of$38,295.00 be accepted and the City Manager
be and he is hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
