WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) rear loading refuse
trucks for the Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Truck Center submitted a bid in the amount of$97,670 for
two (2) six cubic yard rear loader packer refuse trucks; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lone Star Truck
Center should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Truck Center in the amount of $97,670 for the
purchase of two (2) six cubic yard rear loader packer refuse trucks for the Solid Waste
Management Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
