RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the Beaumont Council of Garden Clubs has requested City Council
approval to expand the Beaumont Botanical Gardens in Tyrrell Park by constructing a
10,000 square foot conservatory to be called the Warren Loose Conservatory; and
WHEREAS, the quarter-of-a-million dollar facility will be funded with private
donations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the expansion of the Beaumont Botanical Gardens by constructing a 10,000 square
foot conservatory to be called the Warren Loose Conservatory in Tyrrell Park is hereby
approved.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
