WHEREAS, on March 25, 1996, City Council awarded a contract to Allco, Inc. for
furnishing and installing two traveling water screens at the Water Production Plant in the
amount of$291,766.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 and Final is being requested to adjust quantities
of unit price bid items to provide for the installation of an aluminum mounting rack,
galvanized plates, galvanized grating, silt removal, and necessary appurtenances for
incidental construction in the amount of $8,862.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1
and Final, as stated above, with Allco, Inc. in the amount of $8,862.00. The project, as
stated above, be and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to make final payment in the amount of$300,628.00.
