WHEREAS, bids were received on January 27, 1997 for the purchase of four (4)
high speed computer modems, one (1) standard speed modem and three (3) controllers
to be distributed by the Management Information System Division; and,
WHEREAS, Sirius Computer Solutions submitted a bid in the amount of $21,165
for four (4) 5822 010 IBM DSU/CSU modems, one (1) 7861 015 IBM modem and three (3)
5494-EXT IBM controllers; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sirius Computer
Solutions should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sirius Computer Solutions in the amount of $21,165 for the
purchase of four (4) 5822 010 IBM DSU/CSU modems, one (1) 7861 015 IBM modem and
three (3) 5494-EXT IBM controllers be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11-:zV, day of
