WHEREAS, bids were received for remounting a knuckle boom loader and a twenty
(20) cubic yard dump body on two (2) 1989 Volvo/White truck chassis for use by the Solid
Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, Truck Body of Beaumont, Inc. Wheeler Truck Body submitted a bid in
the amount of $24,574; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Truck Body of
Beaumont, Inc. Wheeler Truck Body should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Truck Body of Beaumont, Inc. Wheeler Truck Body in the
amount of $24,574 for remounting a knuckle boom loader and a twenty (20) cubic yard
dump body on two (2) 1989 Volvo/White truck chassis for use by the Solid Waste
Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1997.
