WHEREAS, on Monday, November 25, 1996, sealed bids were received for the
purchase of three (3) 100 ton air condensing units and three (3) air handling units for the
Beaumont Civic Center Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Trane Company c/o Houston Trane submitted a bid in the amount of
$254,025; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Trane Company
c/o Houston Trane should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Trane Company c/o Houston Trane in the amount of$254,025
for the purchase of three (3) 100 ton air condensing units and three (3) air handling units
for the Beaumont Civic Center Complex be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the I;k- day of
