WHEREAS, on December 9, 1996, bids were received for the construction and
installation of a 63" discharge header for improvements at the Tyrrell Park Lift Station; and,
WHEREAS, Crain Brothers, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$104,300.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Crain Brothers,
Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Crain Brothers, Inc. for the construction and installation of a
63" discharge header for improvements at the Tyrrell park Lift Station in the amount of
$104,300.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to execute a contract for such project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
1996.
