WHEREAS, on April 16, 1996 City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into
a contract with Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Collier's Ferry Recreational
Area in the amount of$1,075,648; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was created to increase the Contract amount by
$7,235.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being requested to increase the contract
amount by $33,575.00 to provide for the dredging of the river side of the boat launch
bulkhead to deepen the river to support boat egress and ingress in the launching area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 2,
as stated above, with Bo-Mac Contractors, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the % day of
