WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) truck chassis equipped
with a recycling collection body for the Solid Waste Management Department; and,
WHEREAS, Olympic International submitted a bid in the amount of $70,161.42 for
the purchase of one (1) International chassis equipped with a Kahn collection body; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Olympic
International should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Olympic International for the purchase of one (1) International
chassis equipped with a Kahn collection body in the amount of $70,161.42 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the day of
