RESOLUTION NO. -
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1996, City Council awarded a contract to Crain Brothers,
Inc. for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvement Project in the amount of
$1,147,600.00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being requested to adjust quantities of unit price
bid items to provide for continuous polyethylen discharge header and concrete slabs for
the existing main influent lift station in the amount of$84,918.00 for a total contract amount
of $1,232,518.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1,
as stated above, with Crain Brothers, Inc. in the amount of$84,918.00 for a total contract
amount of $1,232,518.00.
