RESOLUTION APPROVING NOTICE OF SALE
AND PRELIMINARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT
AND AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, The City of Beaumont, Texas (the "City") intends to sell
approximately $28,880,000 of its City of Beaumont, Texas, Refunding Bonds,
Series 1996A (the "Bonds"), the proceeds of which are to be used to refund
certain outstanding bonds of the City;
WHEREAS, the sale of the Bonds is scheduled for November 12, 1996;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BE THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Official Notice of Sale and Preliminary Official Statement
dated October 29, 1996, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are hereby approved by the City Council; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that officers and agents of the City are
hereby authorized to distribute the attached Official Notice of Sale and
Preliminary Official Statement dated October 29, 1996.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 29th day of October, 1996.
