RESOLUTION NO. 9 -.2-5,0
WHEREAS, Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont
authorizes the City Council to set permit and inspection fees under Chapter 6;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the following permit and inspection fees be and the same are hereby established.
Plumbing Permit Inspection Fees

Movinq Fee
For the moving of any building or structure, the fee shall be $50.00
Demolition Fee
For the demolition of any building or structure, the fee shall be $25.00

Plan Checkinq Fees
When the valuation of the proposed construction exceeds $1000.00 and a plan is
required to be submitted a plan-checking fee shall be paid at the time of the
issuance of the building permit. Said plan-checking fee shall be equal to one-half
of the building permit fee.

Gas Permit and Inspection Fees

Mechanical Permit and Inspection Fees
1. Fee for inspecting heating, ventilating, ductwork, air-conditioning and
refrigeration systems shall be ten dollars ($10.00) for the first one
thousand dollars ($1,000), or fraction thereof, of valuation of the
installation plus two dollars ($2.00) for each additional one thousand
dollars ($1,000), or fraction thereof.
2. Fee for inspecting repairs, alterations and additions to an existing
system shall be five ($5.00) plus two dollars ($2.00) for each one
thousand dollars ($1,000), or fraction thereof. Minimum permit fee is
$10.00.
3. Window Units: In all buildings, except one and two family dwellings,
where self-contained air-conditioning units of less than two tons are
to be installed, the fee charged shall be that for the total cost of all
units combined.
4. .Fee for Re-Inspection: In case it becomes necessary to make a re-
inspection of a heating, ventilating, air-conditioning or refrigeration
system, or boiler installation, the installer of such equipment shall pay
a re-inspection fee of ten dollars ($10.00).
5. Outside City Inspections are five dollars ($5.00).
6. Renew existing permits for 1 year ten dollars ($10.00).
