WHEREAS, final inspection of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street
improvements constructed in Oakmont Addition was made by the Engineering Division and
the Water Utilities Department as follows:
Street and Storm Sewer Improvements:
• Shadowbend Drive from existing Shadowbend Drive approximately 172 feet
north to proposed Oakmont Drive.
• Oakmont Drive from 3 OM-4P markers east approximately 758 feet to and
including the cul-de-sac.
• Shadowbend Avenue from proposed Oakmont Drive approximately 536 feet
north to existing Shadowbend Avenue.
• Eahart Circle from the centerline of proposed Shadowbend Avenue
approximately 251 feet west to and including cul-de-sac and from the
centerline of proposed Shadowbend Avenue approximately 314 feet east to
and including the cul-de-sac.
Water and Sanitary Sewer Improvements:
• Lots 1 - 21, Block 1
• Lots 1 - 13, Block 2
WHEREAS, the developers of said addition desire to have these improvements
accepted and maintained by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the director of Public Works recommends that said improvements meet
city standards and qualify for acceptance for permanent maintenance, and the City Council
is of the opinion that said improvements should be accepted and maintained by the City
of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements in Oakmont
Addition, with the exception of streetlights, are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont
and shall be continuously maintained by the City contingent upon filing of the final plat,
complete with filings of dedication of all rights-of-way and easements required on the
preliminary and final plats.
