BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to designate the Statewide
Consolidated Community Development Corporation, Inc. (SCCDC) as an approved
Community Housing Development Corporation. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a contract with SCCDC concerning the grant of HOME grant funds in the
amount of$324,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City hereby approves the allocation of 1996 HOME
Grant funds as follows:
STATEWIDE CONSOLIDATED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION - $324,000 for the project costs and administration
costs needed to develop 11 new homes in the Charlton-Pollard
Neighborhood
INNOVATIVE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION -
$250,000 for the home buyers assistance for the development of 11
new homes in the Charlton-Pollard Neighborhood
STATEWIDE CONSOLIDATED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION - $169,000 for the home buyers assistance
necessary for 11 new homes to be developed in the Charlton-Pollard
Neighborhood
