RESOLUTION NO. G �
WHEREAS, on May 10, 1996, bids were received for furnishing all labor,
equipment, materials and supervision for exterior renovations to the historic Downtown
YMCA Building located at 934 Calder; and,
WHEREAS, Neild Construction/Development Corporation submitted a bid in the
amount of$765,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Neild
Construction/Development Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Neild Construction/Development Corporation for furnishing all
labor, equipment, materials and supervision for exterior renovations to the historic
Downtown YMCA Building located at 934 Calder in the amount of$765,000 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
a contract for such project.
